Do not compare carriers by tariff only
Choosing a carrier only by the lowest visible tariff can be a mistake. A practical comparison should include delivery speed, route availability, minimum charge, volumetric weight rules, warehouse reliability, branch access, customer support and how easy it is to upload invoices or track parcels.
Carrier comparison checklist
- Which countries and routes are available?
- Does the carrier offer air, land or sea delivery?
- How does the company calculate volumetric weight?
- Are there minimum charges or rounding rules?
- How easy is parcel declaration and invoice upload?
When to use more than one carrier
Different carriers can be better for different product types. A shopper may prefer one carrier for small electronics, another for clothing, and another for bulky products.
